An Onchan election candidate has appeared in court charged with harassment.
Oliver John Lockwood, aged 45, of Main Road, Onchan, appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood on Tuesday morning.
He is also charged with a section 3 public order offence.
He appeared from custody, and was represented in court by duty advocate James Peterson.
Mr Peterson asked for an adjournment until October 6, to allow time for the defendant to seek further legal advice.
Bail was granted, with conditions not to contact the complainants.
