Isle of Man Post Office is to introduce a new parcel collection point and postal services location at Ellan Vannin Fuels Filling Station, Lezayre Road in Ramsey next week.
From Monday, August 24 the new location will replace the customer counter at the Northern Delivery Office on Gladstone Avenue.
A spokesperson for the Post Office said: ‘The new location will offer parcel collection and postal services with extended opening hours, seven-day availability, convenient parking and a central Ramsey location.
‘Customers who receive a “notice left” card will be able to collect their items from the new location.
‘Customers will also continue to have access to a full range of postal services at Ramsey Post Office on Parliament Street, ensuring postal services remain readily available within the town.’
Chief executive of Isle of Man Man Post Office Simon Kneen said: ‘We are committed to making our services as convenient and accessible as possible for customers across the island.
‘The new arrangements will make it easier for customers in the north to collect missed deliveries, offering a convenient location with improved accessibility and parking, while also giving them better access to postal services under the same roof.’
He continued: ‘Working with trusted local retail partners helps us keep services accessible in local communities, while giving customers more choice in how and when they use them. Customers can also buy postage online 24 hours a day, seven days a week.’

Earlier this week the Post Office announced it was seeking a new provider to offer postal and parcel collection services in Port St Mary.
IoMPO is inviting expressions of interest from suitable businesses in the village to provide the services from their premises.
