Mikey Evans suffered no serious injuries after coming off during the opening lap of Friday afternoon’s Sportbike TT.

The Santon man came off at Braddan Oak and was taken to Noble’s Hospital for assessment and treatment.

Posting an update on social media on Friday evening, his team added: ‘He is all okay, scan is clear and he will just have some nice coloured bruises to add to his collection.’

It is the second time the Manxman has crashed this TT, coming off in qualifying at Greeba Castle. Again, luckily, he wasn’t seriously injured and was fit to resume riding the following day.
