A TT visitor has been fined £350 for speeding.
Jason Fox, of Little Sutton Lane, Sutton Coldfield, did not attend court but sent a postal admission to the offence on September 17.
Magistrates also endorsed the 55-year-old’s licence with eight penalty points.
Prosecuting advocate Annie Bannister told the court that police were performing speed checks at Sulby Bridge on June 7, at 10.30am.
They saw Fox on a motorcycle, overtaking a car, and recorded him riding at 52mph in a 30mph zone.
Ms Bannister said that the amount which Fox was exceeding the limit by, had meant that the offence could not be dealt with via a Fixed Penalty Notice.
He must also pay £50 prosecution costs and was given 28 days to pay.
