The Isle of Man Young Farmers Christmas Tractor Run will return on December 5 and 6, with organisers hoping to raise thousands of pounds for two local charities.

The annual event will take place over two days, with the South Route on Saturday, December 5, followed by the Big Route on Sunday, December 6.

The tractors will also make a special appearance in Strand Street, Douglas, opposite Marks & Spencer, during late-night shopping on Thursday, November 26.

This year’s chosen charities are Manx Mencap and Cruse Bereavement Support Isle of Man.

Organisers said they were proud to support the two charities, which provide services to people in the island community. Donations will be collected in buckets along the routes, while an online fundraising page is expected to go live in the coming weeks.

Last year’s tractor run raised more than £30,000 for local causes, namely Isle Stand up to Suicide and the Isle of Man Agricultural Benevolent Trust, with organisers thanking the public and sponsors for their support.

The year before, £18,800 was raised for two island charities - The Children’s Centre and the Great North Air Ambulance Service.

They said they hoped to make the 2026 event ‘another one to remember’ and encouraged people to keep an eye on the group’s social media pages for further details, including route information.

The Christmas Tractor Run has become a popular fixture in the island’s festive calendar, with decorated tractors travelling around the island to raise money for charity.
