The Isle of Man is facing another day of rough weather, with an amber warning for coastal overtopping and a yellow warning for tidal flooding in Ramsey in force today (Tuesday, October 27).
The warnings come after huge waves battered the island last night, with a rare red weather alert prompting coastal road and promenade closures as waves crashed over sea defences.
The Met Office expects further overtopping around high tide at approximately 11.42am, with strong winds likely to send more debris ashore. Shore Road, Castletown Promenade and Fenella Beach are among the areas expected to be particularly affected.
The Steam Packet Company has also cancelled today's Manannan sailings between Douglas and Liverpool, with gale force eight winds expected later.
We will bring you the latest updates throughout the day, including pictures and videos from across the island as conditions develop.
An update from Isle of Man Airport is also expected following last night's runway edge lighting fault, which led to flight cancellations. The airport issue was not weather-related.
