Emergency services are currently at the scene of a road traffic collision at Sulby Bridge.

Police have confirmed the A3 Road has been closed from the Sulby Glen Hotel to Sulby Bridge while emergency services deal with the incident.

The Police have now said the road will be shut until midday.

Motorists are being urged to avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible.

Police said a further update will be provided when more information becomes available.

Drivers are also being asked for their patience and understanding while the road closure remains in place.

The Department of Infrastructure has confirmed it has postponed the planned closure of the Mountain Road today.

The A18 is due to shut today and tomorrow as race-related equipment is removed following the 2026 Manx Grand Prix.

The DOI says the mountain will stay open until that incident is resolved and that route reopened.
