Tuesday evening's Manx Grand Prix qualifying session has been abandoned after a red flag incident in Kirk Michael.

The incident happened just after 7.30pm, not long after the junior, lightweight and senior classic machinery had taken to the Mountain Course.

Organisers confirmed 20 minutes later that the session wouldn't be restarted. No more details have been released.

Monday evening's session was lost to low cloud, meaning organisers had already decided to put on an extra session on Wednesday afternoon.
