Manx Grand Prix organisers have confirmed that an extra qualifying session will take place on the Mountain Course tomorrow afternoon.

Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson has made the decision after Monday evening's session was cancelled because of low cloud.

Roads will close for the contingency session at 12.30pm with Senior/Classic Superbike qualifying following at 1pm.

The junior, lightweight and classic senior machinery will then go out at 2.25pm with roads opening no later than 4.30pm.

Roads will then re-shut at 6pm for Wednesday's planned evening session, opening no later than 9pm.

Roads are scheduled to close at 6pm for this evening's session.
