Peel and Glenfaba MHKs Ray Harmer and Geoffrey Boot have joined forces to issue a new quarterly newsletter.

It aims to keep people in touch with the latest issues in the west and in government.

Mr Harmer said: ’We have worked together on many local issues and as we both made a commitment to keep local constituents informed, it made sense to do a joint newsletter.’

Mr Boot said: ’The newsletter is an expression of working together and reflects on the whole ethos of the new government working with Tynwald members through the new and mutually agreed Programme for Government. On a personal level we get on well and share a similar outlook and of course we both want to do the best in representing the new joint constituency of Glenfaba and Peel.’
