A new information hub is set to open in Ramsey this week, providing residents with face-to-face access to government services.

The Northern Information Centre will open at Ramsey Town Hall on Friday, September 25, and will be open every Friday from 10am to 4pm.

Two members of Welcome Centre staff will be based in Ramsey each week, supported by Ramsey Commissioners, to help members of the community access central government services in person.

Government has identified an initial range of services to be provided through the Northern Information Centre, and the hub will initially operate on a cashless basis.

The Ramsey hub is the first of government's planned regional hubs.
