The total number of votes made in the 2026 General Election was more than 3,000 more than in 2021.

A total of 36,097 votes were made in total across the island, which is 3,285 more then the previous General Election.

Exactly half of the Isle of Man’s 12 constituencies saw a rise in the number of votes.

The constituency which made the most votes was Ramsey, with a total of 5,292 and a rise of 1,925 votes compared to 2021.

The total of votes made also increased in Douglas North, Onchan, Garff, Douglas Central and Arbory, Castletown and Malew.

Constituencies which saw a decrease in vote numbers included Ayre and Michael, Douglas East, Douglas South, Glenfaba and Peel, Middle and Rushen.

Douglas South saw the biggest decrease, with 382 less votes being counted.
