The Royal Manx Agricultural Show has been hailed a success after thousands of visitors descended on Knockaloe Farm over the weekend.

The two-day event brought together the best of Manx agriculture, with livestock competitions, rural displays, local produce, entertainment and activities for all ages.

Organisers have now thanked the army of volunteers, exhibitors, judges, sponsors and supporters who helped make the 2026 show possible.

They said: ‘As the gates close on another incredible Royal Manx Agricultural Show, we'd like to thank our amazing team of volunteers.

‘From months of planning and preparation to setting up the Showground, stewarding rings, welcoming visitors, assisting exhibitors and helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes, every volunteer plays a vital role in making the Show the success it is.’

This year’s attractions included performances from the Bolddog Freestyle Motocross Team, the new Glendown Camping Park Sheep Show and a programme of demonstrations in the DEFA Manx Produce Marquee.

Visitors were also able to watch sheep shearing, sheep dog trials, carriage driving, dog displays and the Grand Parade and Supreme Championship, alongside classic cars, vintage tractors, live music and family entertainment.

The show also provided a platform for the island’s agricultural community, with competitions and displays showcasing livestock, produce, machinery and traditional rural skills.

The organisers added: ‘To every council member, steward, volunteer, judge, exhibitor, sponsor and supporter, thank you for helping showcase the very best of Manx agriculture and creating an unforgettable experience for thousands of visitors.’

And there will be little time for organisers to rest, with preparations for next year’s event already on the horizon.

The Royal Manx Agricultural Show will return to Knockaloe Farm on Friday, August 13 and Saturday, August 14, 2027.
