Manx Utilities has submitted plans to instal a 50KW rapid charging point for electric vehicles at the Sea Terminal.

The application (20/01252/B) would see an existing parking space, on the furthest wall from the front of the building, given up for the charging point.

Manx Utilities’ application says the charging point will support the government’s climate change policy and would allow electric vehicle drivers to charge their car/bike/van ’in up to one hour’.
