Police are making enquiries after a social media post alleged a woman was followed into a toilet at a pub in Douglas.

The Isle of Man Constabulary said it was aware of a post shared on social media on Saturday evening (October 31).

The post, which was later deleted, was written by the woman's father, who alleged his daughter had been watched and followed by a man while she was alone.

In a statement provided to Isle of Man Today, police said: ‘We are aware of a post shared on social media on Saturday evening.

‘Police are making enquiries with a view to investigate and determine whether any offences may have been committed.’
