Operating the Isle of Man’s Liverpool ferry terminal costs more than £710,000 a yearUsually the island’s Budget is announced in February, however a revision of the Treasury’s financial forecast and spending plans will be needed.
The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has brought major challenges to the island, with unemployment more than doubling in one month and millions being poured into businesses in an attempt to save jobs.
During today’s press briefing Enterprise Minister Laurence Skelly said that the revised Budget looks set to be introduced in July.
