Dalby Road has reopened following a single-vehicle collision this morning (Monday).
Fire crews from Peel and Rushen stations were called to the incident at around 8.30am, along with a duty officer, after reports of a collision near the Round Table.
The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service said a vehicle had come to rest in a ditch, with one occupant still inside.
Crews assessed the casualty before helping to extricate them from the vehicle.
The occupant was then handed over to paramedics, while firefighters made the vehicle safe.
Crews remained at the scene for approximately 45 minutes.
The Isle of Man Constabulary had earlier confirmed that the road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident, saying it would remain shut until the scene had been cleared and it was safe for traffic to pass.
The road has since reopened.
