The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company has cancelled Wednesday’s sailings to and from Larne due to forecast adverse weather.

The 6.45am Manannan sailing from Douglas to Northern Ireland and the return 10.45am crossing have both been scrapped.

Passengers can amend their bookings online or contact the reservations team on 01624 661661 or 08722 992 992 to make alternative arrangements.

Earlier, both sailings had been listed as at risk of disruption or cancellation.

Strong winds are forecast for Wednesday, with the Isle of Man Met Office warning conditions could possibly touch gale force in places.

Coastal overtopping is also possible in some areas around high tide, which is expected at approximately 2.17pm.
