Despite only wrapping up this year’s show only weeks ago, tickets for this year’s Christmas pantomime have already gone on sale.
The Gaiety theatre is already set to host ’Jack and the Beanstalk’, with shows running through December, from Saturday, 18 right the way to Friday, 31, with matinees and evening shows on each day.
After enjoying a busy festive period at the Gaiety Theatre, where the island was probably the only place in the British Isles where a traditional panto could take place without the need for social distancing, the play for next year has already been announced, with the UK-based theatre group Shone Productions taking charge of their third pantomime show on the island.
Shone Productions put on last year’s successful show, Sleeping Beauty, which featured an all-local cast, including Shay Marsden, who made her panto debut in a starring role, playing the role of Princess Beauty.
Tickets for this year’s performance are priced between £19.50 and £22.50 for adults, with between £18.50 and £20.50 for seniors and under 16s.
A Family ticket will cost £68 and a group booking for eight or more people will cost between £18 and £20.
All tickets for the opening night performance will cost £16.50.
Tickets are available online from villagaiety.com
