Jacob John Leece, aged 20, of St Germain’s Place, Peel, appeared in court this week charged with being in charge of a vehicle while under the influence of cannabis.

He is also charged with possessing the same drugs.

The offences are alleged to have been committed on November 27 in Glen Maye.

The case was adjourned until March 27 at the request of defence advocate Paul Rodgers who asked for time to review the case papers and police body-worn camera footage.

Bail was granted in the sum of £500.
