The Brendan Downey Construction-sponsored Peel to Douglas Trail Run takes place this Sunday, September 20.

Entries are online, and close at 9pm on Friday (September 18).

Last year a record 103 runners completed the race.

Organisers Manx Harriers announced last week that the new sponsorship has also allowed prizes for teams as well as for individuals, adding further interest to the race for affiliated club members.

In the men’s and women’s races, the first three finishers for a club will count as the ‘A’ team, then if they have multiple runners the B team will be the fourth, fifth and sixth runners etc.

Prizes will be awarded to the leading three teams in both the men’s and women’s races, with positions decided on aggregate finishing positions.

Bib collection takes place between 8am and 8.45 at the Creek Inn, with the race beginning at Peel Fish Yard at 9am.
