There was a fabulous entry of almost 90 riders for Manx Grass and Sand Racing Club’s stubblefield motocross opposite Bishopscourt on Sunday.
In good conditions, Beau Brown won the first Adult A Group race from Bobby Moyer, but then slipped to fifth in race two leaving Jack and Will Keenan to scrap it out on a pair of Gas Gases. Jack ultimately took it from Moyer, Will Keenan and Liam Smith to clinch the overall by six points from Brown.
The B Group was highlighted by the appearance of three leading local TT riders, with the first race won by Marcus Simpson from Ryan and Callum Crowe.
The latter two rode a brace of Stark Varg electric bikes, and it was Callum who won the remaining two races in fine style from Harry Corrin and Niall McCanney.

Simpson chalked up two third places finishes to end the day runner-up to four-time sidecar TT-winning passenger Callum.
The C Group was shared between Nathan Kelly and veteran campaigner Gordon Rice. Kelly had two firsts and a second to edge the overall honours, Rice a first and two seconds.
Tom Cannell won all three quad bike races from Matt Thorpe and Alex McHugh, Thorpe taking the runner-up spot overall with a third and two seconds which was enough to lift the Centre championship for a fourth time.

Harry Beattie won all three 125/250F races to beat Louis Piggin who was runner-up in each, while Leo Gray and Marley Meechan had a good tussle for third.
The 85cc classes were no to swell supported. Abe Cain won all three big-wheel races from Nathan Kinley and Maverick Meechan, while Thomas Clague took his customary win in the Small-Wheel class from hard-trying Elijah Corrin.
The 65cc category saw Seb Inman first home in each race from Stanley Cain and Archie Blair.
Visiting rider Rupert Keenan won the Autos class with a 1-4-1 scoresheet, from Charlie Clague 2-1-2 and April Kelly 2-2-3.
Several ‘pocket rockets’ had a play day on a smaller track; thanks to Richard Crowe for the use of the field.
