The Isle of Man has a strong team for the Celtic Match Races at Jurby later this month.
Andreas Racing Association is hosting the popular event for the first time since 2010 over the weekend of September 26-27 when teams representing Ireland, Scotland and Wales will go head-to-head with the home side, with national pride and the prestigious replica sword of state at stake.
The event returned last year for the first time since 2010 and Scotland will be the defending champions having taken victory at East Fortune 12 months ago.
This will be the ninth time the Celtic Match Races have taken place on Manx soil, having been the instigators of the inaugural event in 1979 as part of the Millennium celebrations.
There is no doubt that the Isle of Man has assembled a strong line-up of solo riders and sidecars across the classes, including several TT regulars and two winners.
The open solo team consists of the new IoM Centre road race champion Rory Parker with Marcus Simpson and Illy Quayle as reserve. Classic Superbike - Mikey Evans and Paul Cassidy, reserve Lex Geval; Supersport/Next Gen - Kyle Casement, Ryan Cringle, reserve Alex Galloway; Supertwin/Sportbike - Francesco Faraldo, Aron Redmond, reserve Dale Brew; Pre-Injection 600 - Lex Geval, Maxx Jones, reserve Jack Meechan; CB500 - Tommo Burnett, Ozzy Madey, reserve Spencer Baker; Open 500 - Sean Crone, Paul Cassidy, reserve Paul Metcalfe. Junior Supersport - Euan Bainborough, George Cowie, reserve Toby Melvin; Sidecars - Ryan & Callum Crowe, Darren Hope & Lenny Bumfrey, Craig Melvin & Jake Roberts, Stu Bainborough & Will Beal.
Alongside the Match Races there will be a full programme of support events open to other competitors - entries for which are open via the ARA website.
