The feature Gold Cup race at Oliver's Mount in Scarborough was won by Dean Harrison (Honda Racing UK), marking his fourth Gold Cup title, joining Barry Sheene in the record books for four wins.

The Ballaugh resident dominated the eight-lap race in challenging mixed conditions, finishing 4.609 seconds ahead of second-place Mike Browne (Yamaha), with Peter Hickman completing the podium in third.

They were followed home by Rob Hodson and last month's star of the MGP Johnny Stewart.

Harrison also won the four Supersport races over the weekend. Superbikes are no longer raced over the tight and twisty two-mile course.

Davey Todd made his return from injury with three top-five finishes, but did not finish the Gold Cup race.

Sulby's Dan Sayle won the first two-stroke race

The event marked the 80th anniversary of the Gold Cup meeting with a number of star names and past winners in attendance.
