Emergency crews are urging the public to drive to the conditions after a single car crash on the Mountain Road.

The road was temporarily closed while the vehicle was recovered just past Brandywell Junction yesterday (Saturday).

The driver was safely out of the vehicle and was checked by paramedics at the scene.

A fire service spokesman said: ’Roads are extra slippery this time of year please drive to the conditions and expect the unexpected!’
