Katie Louise Hall, aged 37, of Ballacriy Park, Colby, has denied stealing £86,600 from her mother.

It is alleged that the money was taken from an account between March 9 and November 28 last year.

Prosecuting advocate Hazel Carroon submitted that the case should go to the Court of General Gaol Delivery for trial. Defence advocate David Reynolds agreed.

Committal proceedings will take place on August 31.

Bail was granted in the sum of £500 with conditions to live at her home address, not contact her mother, and not leave the island without court consent.
