Teams from Manx Utilities have travelled to Eire after Storm Ophelia damaged 3,000 overhead electricity line poles and caused 365,000 faults.
Two overhead line teams, a supervisor and two specialised overhead line vehicles were sent in response call for assistance this week.
The North East West South Area Consortium (NEWSAC), an aid group which calls upon other electricity companies in the event of crisis, contacted Manx Utilities for help.
Earlier today (Monday), the Electricity Supply Board Networks (ESP) in Eire were dealing with 15,000 customers, who had been cut off from their electricity since the day of the storm.
Around 130 staff from England, Wales and France have also been working all week to fix the damaged lines and faults.
Costs to Manx Utilities will be reimbursed from the host Network Operator.
