The Mountain Road has been closed for the third time in little over 24 hours following a car crash.

Police confirmed the road closed at 9.15pm following a crash a car leaving the road at Windy Corner.

This comes after an incident earlier this afternoon and one last night which has seen the A18 closed from Ramsey Hairpin to the Creg-ny-Baa.

The road has since reopened.
