Police have issued a plea for bikers to ride sensibly on Mad Sunday.

Officers in the roads policing unit said: ’We are fortunate to have several medical staff helping us throughout the TT period, which we are grateful for.

’Unfortunately we have quite a few want-to-be-heroes out on the road already.

’Please ride sensibly and don’t let your lack of talent cause you to meet the doctor.’
