Ramsey lifeboat crews escorted a yacht, which was taking on water, into the harbour.
The RNLI crews were called to assist the 10m yacht that was mile off the Point of Ayre by the Isle of Man Marine Operations Centre at about 5.45pm on Saturday.
The crew of the distressed yacht were pumping out the water and in full control of their vessel.
An RNLI press release said: ’Once lifeboat coxswain Mark Kenyon was satisfied there was no immediate danger it was decided as a precautionary measure that the lifeboat would shadow the yacht as it made its way towards Ramsey Harbour.’
Upon reaching the harbour care of the yacht was passed to Ramsey Coastguard team.
