â?¢ Luke Geoffrey Pickup, aged 25, of The Threshold, Jurby, has appeared in court after admitting affray and behaviour likely to cause belief unlawful violence may be used.

A doctor’s report is awaited and he will appear in court again on March 26.

Bail continues.

â?¢ Adam Simon Campbell, aged 18, of Gladstone Avenue, Ramsey, has been charged with possession of ecstasy with intent to supply.

He is also accused of possession of the same drug and possession of cannabis.

The case was adjourned until March 12 at the request of his defence advocate David Clegg who asked for time to discuss the case with his client.

Bail was granted in the sum of £500.

â?¢ Charlton Andrew Gary Watterson, aged 23, of Empire Terrace, Douglas, faces charges of assault causing actual bodily harm and taking a vehicle without consent. Trials are already due to take place on April 26, May 1 and May 8 in relation to other offences.

Mr Watterson will appear in court again on March 26.

No bail application was made and he was remanded in custody

â?¢ Michelle Marie Makin, aged 37, of Corrin’s Way, Peel, has appeared in court accused of a benefit fraud in the region of £75,000.

She is charged nine counts of making false representation to obtain a benefit and one of failing to inform a change of circumstances.

The case was adjourned until March 12 to allow time for her to instruct her chosen advocate Louise Cooil.

â?¢ Jordan Daniel Bond, aged 19, of Clarence Terrace, Douglas, has been charged with common assault.

The case was adjourned until March 19 to allow him time to instruct his chosen advocate Paul Rodgers.

Bail was granted in the sum of £500.

â?¢ Thomas Daniel Richards, aged 20, of Ballabrooie, Sulby, has denied driving whilst disqualified, taking a vehicle without consent, and having no insurance.

A pre-trial review will be held on April 23.
