Police have arrested two people today on suspicion of breaking lockdown rules.
Officers announced the news on social media, saying that no comment would be made on individual cases.
Today is the first day of the island’s three-week circuit breaker lockdown to stop the spread of Covid-19.
Police said: ’We have made two arrests today in relation to suspected Covid offences. The rules are in place to stop the spread of the virus and keep the Isle of Man safe. At this time we will not comment on individual cases but we would ask that you all play your part.’
