Police are seeking information after a young girl swimming off Fenella Beach was hit with a stone.
It happened around 2.25pm on Tuesday as she was near to the rocks beneath Peel Castle.
The stone was thrown from the direction of the castle, and a witness said that a group of young males were throwing stones into water.
The girl suffered a head injury and had to attend Noble’s Hospital.
Police are asking anyone who was in the area at the time who may be able to identify these males to contact with Peel police station.
