A blues and slide guitarist steeped in the early days of traditional southwest and delta blues is heading to the island later this year.
Adam Franklin, a top-rated blues guitar musician and teacher, is set to perform at the Laxey Institute on Saturday, October 10, from 7.30pm, as well as hold a guitar workshop.
Adam is described as a ’superb exponent of blues and ragtime from a golden age of American music’, and has performed on stage alongside the likes of Del Rey, Steve James and Joe Filisko.
