Two more of the highlights of the Manx calendar have been axed because of the coronavirus crisis.
Both the Royal Manx Agricultural Society and the Southern Agricultural show have been cancelled.
The RMS said: ’The society has discussed various alternatives, but for many reasons, none of these options are viable.
’Whilst this news is disappointing for everyone, we are sure you would agree that the health, safety and wellbeing of our members, visitors, exhibitors and volunteers is of paramount importance.
’The ongoing situation with Covid-19 has had such an impact on the island that this is the responsible thing to do.
’Refunds will automatically be issued to all trade stand holders who have already booked a pitch.’
