Coastal overtopping and minor inner harbour flooding are likely to affect the Isle of Man today, the Met Office says.
The forecast:
Outbreaks of rain and strong southerly winds at first today, but the rain will clear away around late morning allowing sunny intervals to develop during the afternoon and evening in many places, although the southerly winds will continue quite strong.
The best of the brighter skies will be across the north of the island, where temperatures will reach about 13 Celsius. At around the time of high tide (1pm) large waves will break over exposed coastal areas, bringing some debris onshore.
Later tonight it will turn misty, then tomorrow will begin cloudy, damp and misty with some drizzle in places. However, by the afternoon the mist and cloud will lift, with warm or very warm sunny spells then developing. Temperatures will rise to between 13 and 17 Celsius, with mainly moderate or fresh south or southeasterly winds.
Dry on Thursday, with the variable cloud cover allowing some sunny intervals, Light winds, with cooler temperatures.
