An individual was arrested yesterday afternoon on suspicion of flying a drone near the TT course when it was closed.

It was allegedly flown near Ballaugh Bridge.

A police spokesman said: 'They pose a risk to the racers, spectators and the medical aircraft operating around the island, that's why they're not allowed whilst the roads are closed for racing.'
