Residents at Ballakillowey in the south of the island are likely to remain without water for ’several hours’ according to Manx Utilities.

A previous problem in the Farmhill area of Douglas has been resolved, but residents there are being told to run their water if it is discoloured.

While the problem is ongoing at Ballakillowey, Manx Utilities are providing bottled water at Viking Hill and Viking Close.
