Barclays is set to shut down three of its ATMs across the Isle of Man later this year.

Customers have been told that cash machines in Peel, Castletown and at the Isle of Man Business Park will be removed on December 11.

The ATMs affected are located at Cycle 360 on Cooil Road at the Business Park, the former Peel Post Office site on Douglas Street and Castletown Civic Centre on Farrants Way.

In an email sent to customers and seen by Isle of Man Today, Barclays said: ‘We have taken the decision to remove three ATMs in Peel, Castletown and the Isle of Man Business Park on 11 December 2026.

‘This means that you won’t be able to use or withdraw cash from these ATMs after they have been closed.

‘We appreciate that this may not be welcome news, and we’re sorry for any inconvenience it may cause.’

The bank said customers would still be able to use alternative ATMs or obtain cashback using their debit cards at participating outlets.

Barclays also said cash services would continue to be available from its Douglas branch, where ATMs are located both inside and outside.

The email added: ‘Our digital services offer you the quickest, easiest, and most secure way to carry out your day-to-day banking requirements.’

The three ATMs are due to be removed on December 11.
