Beach Buddies returns to action again this weekend with a beach cleaning event in the south of the island at Pooill Vaaish.

Reports suggest that large amounts of marine rubbish have collected in this area in the last few weeks, so volunteers can expect to be busy!

The event starts at 10.30am on Sunday morning, finishing no later than noon.

Car parking is always a problem at Pooill Vaaish, and we ask that drivers respect that this beach is alongside a busy working farm.

Directions to a suitable parking area will be given to drivers on arrival in the farmyard.

This event is able to take place with the permission of the Gawne family.
