Stand up comic and motorbike fanatic Ross Noble is returning to the island for a special TT gig.

The Geordie comic will perform at the Official Hospitality Unit at the TT Paddock on Tuesday, June 5.

The comic said of his appearance: ’What a stroke of luck!

’A show during this year’s TT for TT fans right at the heart of the event. There’s work and there’s play and sometimes the lines get a little blurred.

’I can’t imagine anywhere in the world I’d rather be in June than the Isle of Man and I’m really looking forward to putting on a show and maybe finding a place on the hedge to watch some racing from as well.’

He is a celebrated comedian, voted in the top 10 in a Channel 4 poll to find the greatest stand up of all time, made regular appearances on QI, Have I Got News for You and has been nominated for a Lawrence Olivier Award for his performance in the musical ’Young Frankenstein’.

Ross Noble is known to fans for his shows which can literally go anywhere, once commenting he only goes on stage with a collection of words written on a piece of paper.

His appearance during the TT is part of a British Isles tour has been called ’a wild ride through his imagination’.
