Lingerie tycoon Michelle Mone’s Côte d’Azur villa is for sale - as she looks set to make the Isle of Man her new home.

Lady Mone, founder of the Ultimo brand, is switching Villa La Cascade in the south of France for a new life here in the island.

Michelle, 45, who founded the Ultimo brand and in 2015 was made a Tory peer, is asking more than £13 million for Villa La Cascade through upmarket agents Knight Frank.

It has seven bedrooms, staff accommodation and an amazing infinity pool with a Jacuzzi.

The villa, surrounded by palm trees, is said to offer privacy and incredible views overlooking the bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer.

Michelle is selling up to move in with her businessman partner Doug Barrowman, a fellow Glaswegian, at St Marks. She has also launched a new global business venture called Michelle Mone Interiors to offer high-end bespoke interior design services around the world. The new business has an office in Knox House, Finch Road, Douglas.

Last month our sister paper, the Manx Independent, told how Michelle opened her heart about her romance with Mr Barrowman in Hello! magazine. The couple invited the magazine into the sprawling, magnificent home they now share in the island.

She said: ’I feel like I’m in a fairytale. A beautiful dream I don’t ever want to wake up from.’ Doug, 52, a father-of-four, and mum-of-three Michelle told of their first proper date, on board the businessman’s £30m superyacht. Michelle added: ’In every way, I came to see I’d met my match in this amazing man.’
