Sales team member Tom Charmer has been promoted to senior sales manager at Conister Bank.
And the bank’s newest recruit Andrew Moody has been taken on as sales manager.
Mr Charmer has enjoyed a 16-year banking career.
As senior sales manager, he will take over a number of the bank’s commercial and corporate relationships.
Mr Charmer said: ’Since I joined the bank in 2018, the business has continued to grow and during this time, we have seen a real need from the personal and commercial customers alike for a bank that operates an ’’open for business’’ mentality.
’Conister is a fast-paced environment where hard work and commitment is rewarded. I am delighted to have received this promotion and will continue to help grow the business and build on our recent successes’.
Andy Bass, associate director and head of sales at Conister Bank, said: ’This promotion is testament to Tom’s hard work and commitment since joining the bank.
’At the time of his appointment, I believed that Tom was a great fit for our business and I am delighted to be in a position to reward him for his efforts. Tom is very much a ’’go to’’ person within the business community for their financing needs and with business rapidly growing, he will undoubtedly add value to our corporate offering and help Conister Bank continue to meet the demands of its clients.’ Meanwhile Andrew Moody has been busy learning the ropes. His main focus as sales manager is Conister’s online lending systems and its network of approved partners. This is a new role specially created to meet the increasing demand for the bank’s online services.
He said: ’I’m excited by this fresh challenge and eager to put my ideas and plans into place. I’ve hit the ground running and it’s been a great couple of months meeting new people and understanding how Conister Bank contributes to the island’s people and economy.’
Mr Bass said: ’The demand for our online services has been so strong that we took the decision to create this role, which is a demonstration of our commitment to the Isle of Man’s lending market.
’This really is an exciting time for Conister Bank and for our customers.
’I am extremely proud of our recent achievements as we approach our 85th year in business.’
