Manx Telecom has agreed a new five-year deal with customer relationship management systems provider Cerillion.

Manx Telecom says this will help improve its services and customer experience.

Cerillion will provide Manx Telecom with a package.

Sutha Siva, chief operating officer of Manx Telecom, said: ‘Increasing competition from both traditional telecoms providers and newer digital services providers means that we must continue to evolve our support system capabilities to stay ahead in our markets,

‘By moving to Cerillion 8 and the Evergreen Software Model, we are making a step-change in our capabilities now and crucially future-proofing our business for the challenges of

tomorrow.’

Manx Telecom has enjoyed a long-term ‘strategic partnership’ with Cerillion dating back to 1997.

In 2006, Cerillion helped Manx Telecom become the first combined fixed and mobile telecommunications company in the world to gain British Approvals Board for Telecommunications assurance approval for its billing and pricing accuracy.

Cerillion chief executive officer Louis Hall said it was a pleasure to extend the relationship between the two companies. ‘The increasing pace of change in the industry means that telecoms businesses must have the means to continually upgrade their capabilities and adapt to new demands.

‘Manx Telecom is a long-standing Cerillion customer and we are delighted to be helping them stay at the forefront of innovation with this new five-year deal.’
