McDonald’s will close tonight in line with stores in the rest of the British Isles.

The store on Peel Road will close from 7pm for the foreseeable future.

Last week the store closed its seating area and remained open only for take away and drive through meals.

All other pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafes across the island have already been ordered to shut to protect residents from Covid-19. However, they can continue to sell take away food for deliveries.
