Dominic Wall has joined the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority.
In his new role, Dominic will lead the Bucks Road-based authority's contribution to the Isle of Man's Sustainable Finance Initiative (IoMSFI).
The IoMSFI is a strategic project launched by government agency Finance Isle of Man to direct capital toward climate-friendly, socially positive, and nature-based solutions. It leverages the island's status as a UNESCO Biosphere to build a leading sustainable financial services sector.
From a regulatory perspective, Dominic will be reviewing and updating the FSA's requirements, policy and guidance on Environmental, Social, Governance matters, and acting as an active stakeholder on pillars 2, 3 and 4 of the IoMSFI.
Dominic, who has previously worked for Deloitte and the Capital International Group in the island, brings 11 years' experience across financial services and sustainability reporting, including a previous role as a manager in the former's sustainability reporting and assurance readiness team.
He holds an Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and Sustainable Investing Certificate through the CFA Institute, a Certificate in Sustainable and Responsible Investing through the CISI, and the ICAEW Sustainability Certificate — and is currently working towards a Certificate in Impact Investing through the CFA Institute to deepen his expertise in directing capital toward nature-positive solutions.
Beyond the FSA, Dominic is a non-executive board member of UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man and a two-time winner in Media Isle of Man’s Gef’s 30 Under 30 awards, in the sustainability and innovation categories.
