A section of the River Neb footpath will close temporarily from Monday, August 3, to allow essential infrastructure works to take place as part of the new treatment works project.

The closure is required to enable the completion of a surface water outfall connecting the new treatment works site and its access road to the River Neb.

During the works, pedestrian access along the affected section of the riverside path will be unavailable. However, walkers will still be able to use the adjacent heritage trail as an alternative route.

The closure is expected to remain in place for up to four weeks. Once the work has been completed, the River Neb footpath will reopen to the public.

Signage will be installed throughout the area to direct pedestrians along the diversion route and provide information about access arrangements.
