A tourism industry day will be staged by the Department for Enterprise at the Villa Marina next month.

Delegates from the island’s tourism and hospitality sectors are invited to register and attend the event on Thursday, February 22.

Angela Byrne, head of tourism, said: ’2018’s industry day is a free event representing a great opportunity for businesses involved in our visitor economy to listen to our plans for the year ahead and how we are fulfilling the objectives laid out in the Destination Management Plan. ’

Pricing strategy expert Debbie Richards will give the keynote speech, ’How to Sell More and Make More Income’. Drop-in sessions and workshops will be available featuring Visit Isle of Man, TLC, My UK, DEFA, and Cruise Isle of Man.
