Former insurance boss in the island Tim Rattray has scooped a new role in another jurisdiction.
Mr Rattray is originally from Cheshire. He moved to the Isle of Man when he was 15, where he began his career in insurance.
He spent 15 years in London working in several large brokerages dealing with FTSE 250 companies before returning to the Isle of Man in 2005 to open an office for Rossborough.
In the 12 years he was there as managing director the business grew from being a fledging operation to having 22 employees.
Mr Rattray has more than 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry with specialist knowledge of professional indemnity, directors’ and officers’ liability and cyber risks cover.
Now he has been appointed new managing director of Cherry Godfrey Jersey.
Mr Rattray, who has a wife and two daughters, is looking forward to growing the company.
