Mobsters and murder are on the cards for an annual concert hosted by a local charity.
’Murder in the Juice Joint’ takes place at the Laxey institute on Saturday, October 26, and is a fund raising evening featuring an interactive murder mystery show, complete with local poets, story tellers and musicians, organised by the charity Without Wings.
The show will be based around a 1920s New York mobster theme, complete with characters such as ’Mobsters and molls, swanky singers, cigarette girls with tempers that sizzle, and crooked police chiefs with smoking cigars’.
Actors from the local pop-up performance group Penny Productions will lead the evening, with guests encouraged to join in wearing costumes and play an active role in the course of the evening.
Tickets are £15 each, available through the Without Wings Facebook page.
